This tour also includes visits to the famous sightseeing place of Bhaktapur, followed by a overnight stay in Nagarkot. Bhaktapur is also known as city of devotees, is the home of medieval art and architecture. Lying 14 kilometres east of Kathmandu city, this place was founded in the 9th Century and is shaped like a conch shell.
After visiting Bhaktapur we head towards the Nagarkot, a place where peep into giant Himalayas. Nagarkot is a village located about 32 kilometres east of Kathmandu on the north-eastern rim at an elevation close to 6,800 feet above sea level. It is famous as one of the most scenic spots in the region, renowned for its sunrise and sunset views of the Himalayas. Visitors often travel to Nagarkot from Kathmandu to spend the night so that they can be there for the breathtaking sunrise view.

After breakfast at the hotel commence the sightseeing tour of Bouddhanath and Pashupatinath.
The Boudha Nath Stupa of Lord Buddha has been given great importance among the temple of Gods and Chaityas of Nepal. It is situated in the north-east about 7 km away from Kathmandu. The Jyotiswarup Chaitya according to the Buddhist Grantha. The devotees of different religions come to visit and worship this Chaitya. This Colossal Buddhist Stupa is one of the biggest Lamaist temple in the world. It is built in the Pagoda style. At present, there are five Gompas (Tibetan monasteries) where Tibetan Buddhist monks pray to the Buddhist deities.
The Pashupatinath temple is regarded as a very special and popular temple among the religious sites of Nepal. This temple is situated at a distance of 4 km away in the north east of Kathmandu. The Lichchhavi kings have laid Shivaling of this temple. Thereafter, the Malla kings made it more beautiful and attractive by converting it into two storied. People of different castes and religions comet o this temple to worship with great respect. Likewise, devotees from abroad come to worship the lord Shiva. The forest, Kailash and Ghat around Pashupatinath temple have made the surrounding environment attractive, beautiful and worth seeing it. This temple is very important from the religious point of view. It is one of the holiest spots for Hindus. The main temple is situated on the bank of the Bagmati River which is a tributary of the holy Gangajee river of India.
You will then be driven to Nagarkot. On your 45-minutes drive to Nagarkot, you get breathtaking panoramic views of Mt. Everest, Manaslu and Gauri Shankar. Nagarkot is most popular for its magnificent sunset and sunrise views, along with its lovely weather.

After basking in the fabulous sunrise view in Nagarkot, you return to Kathmandu. Thereafter, you resume your sightseeing tour in other exotic locales like Kathmandu Durbar Square and Kumari temple. Kumari is the Living Virgin Goddess of Hindu religion and is chosen from a Newari Shakya family after meeting all the criteria. Kumari temple lies in the vicinity of Kathmandu Durbar Square.
